It's the classic ending to a big garden weekend: the garden looks great, and there's a pile the size of a small car sitting on the lawn. The council bin will swallow a fraction of it a fortnight at a time — and across our patch the schemes won't take large branches, turf or soil at all. Bagging it for repeated tip runs eats another weekend. That's the gap this service fills.

After it leaves your garden, green waste goes to licensed waste facilities where garden material is typically shredded and composted or otherwise recycled rather than landfilled. As a registered waste carrier we can show where each load went — some customers ask, and we like that they do.
Why the council routes fall short for big piles. Kerbside garden bins across our area are paid subscriptions collected fortnightly, and the schemes commonly exclude exactly what a big clear-out produces — Flintshire's, for example, can't accept large branches, turf, soil or invasive species. The recycling centres take garden waste, but you do the bagging and the repeated trips, and van or trailer visits need permits or bookings at most sites.
The cheap-quote warning. Licensed disposal costs real money per tonne. If a price seems too cheap to include legal tipping, it probably doesn't — and under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, householders have a duty of care for waste leaving their property. If your green waste is found fly-tipped, the fine can land on you. Always ask for a waste carrier registration number and check it on the public register; we'll happily show ours before we load a single bag.

Grass cuttings, hedge and shrub trimmings, branches, brambles, leaves, weeds and plants — anything that grew in the garden. Soil, turf, rubble, treated timber and general household rubbish are different waste types: tell us about them and we'll quote accordingly.
No. Loose piles are fine — loading is our job. If it's already bagged, that's fine too. We load everything and sweep up where the pile stood.
These are heavier waste types with different disposal routes, so they're not included in a standard green waste price. Mention them when you ask for a quote and we'll tell you straight away whether we can take them and what it would cost.
By volume and access — how much there is and how far it has to be carried to the van. Send photos of the pile through the quote form and you'll get a free fixed price, usually within one working day. The price we agree is the price you pay.
